As international HYDRO-BIOS distributor, our organisation uses the name and the information contained in this web site with permission of HYDRO-BIOS in Germany. We are an AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTOR of these products primarily for the North American market e.g. Canada but, where required also serve clients in areas without local distributors/dealers.

HYDRO-BIOS products - manufactured in Germany by Hydro-Bios Apparatebau GmbH - are by far the best known precision-mechanical and electro-mechanical apparatus, devices and instruments, used world-wide in Oceanogra-phy, Hydrobiology, studies in Ecology, Limnology and related sciences. These products have been manufactured in Europe for well over 40 years and have found wide acceptance and application by scientists in more than 80 countries around the world.

The current HYDRO-BIOS manufacturing programme includes equipment for use in Oceanography, Hydrobiology, Limnology, as well as instrumentation for water pollution investigation in the fields of public health, environmental protection and ecology - geared for new developments as required.

Samplers are available with volumes from 0.5 up to 400 liters for an operational depth up to 10000 meters. Multi Water Sampler for collection of 6-24 water samples from different depths. Sediment Samplers for use in limnology and shelf area, Stream Bottom Sampler, Sediment Corer, single and multibottle Sediment Traps. Plankton Nets for limnological and oceanographic use, from the small hand-held net up to large towing nets for collection of phytoplankton, zooplankton as well as fisheggs and larvae.
